African American Leaders Forum & Rhythmic Showcase

Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate Black History Month with the YWCA!

Over 75 people joined us to hear from a dynamic panel of African American women leaders in our community:

• Tina L. Nixon, YWCA CEO - "Violence in our Community"
• Pat Gadsden, Life Esteem - "Black History in Harrisburg"
• Yvonne Hollins, Boys & Girls Club - "Education & Opportunities"
• Dr. Linnie Carter, HACC - "Higher Education"

The Rhythmic Showcase that followed featured many talented poetry and spoken word artists, which was powerful to hear.
