21 Day Social Justice Challenge

Join the Movement: Engage, Learn and Take Action!

“Voting is the first duty of democracy.” ~ President Lyndon B. Johnson

As we celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States in 2026, the YWCA Greater Harrisburg is proud to join with YWCA USA for the 21-Day Social Justice Challenge, which this year will focus on voting rights – honoring 250 years of the American democratic experiment while exposing inequities, uplifting the struggle for access to the ballot, and advocating for a future where every American’s vote is protected, valued and accessible.

From April 6-May 4, 2026, we’re bringing you a powerful opportunity to deepen your understanding of social justice and voting rights. Each day, we will email you carefully curated content – an article, video, podcast or action step – designed to deepen your understanding of voting rights and inspire meaningful engagement by creating awareness, sparking conversation and inspiring collective action around our nation’s most pressing issues. This year, in celebration of America’s 250th Anniversary, we’re focusing on voting rights because democracy only works when it is for everyone.

Register today! Cost is $30/per person and raises funds for the YWCA’s racial and social justice programs. If you have a team of 2 or more, use code TEAMCHALLENGE at checkout for a discount price of $20/per person.
