Child Development Pre-K Counts
Quality Pre-K prepares children for school by helping them with reading and math, and social skills such as paying attention and following directions. By enrolling in our Pre-K Counts program, your child will be well-prepared for kindergarten and beyond!
Children enrolled in Quality Pre-K programs do better in school and are more likely to graduate high school.
The YWCA Greater Harrisburg is now enrolling children ages 3-4 in its Pre-K Counts Program, free to most income eligible parents. In fact, the income threshold is high – making most working parents in Central PA eligible for this program.
Children who attend Pre-K have a better chance of being ready for Kindergarten and grade school and the YWCA’s quality pre-kindergarten program focuses on crucial skills to prepare your child for school. Give your child the advantage they need for success in school and in life by enrolling them in this quality pre-K program in Harrisburg.
