Junior Board

Empowering Women, Eliminating Racism.

The YWCA Greater Harrisburg is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all.

About the Junior Board

The Junior Board is made of 18 women between 21-35 years old, charged with creating awareness of the YWCA mission and serves to develop leadership and service skills in its members.

Applications for the Junior Board are accepted in June and July each year and voted on in August. Please check back for the application form. We put out a call for new members each summer. If you think you would be a good candidate for the Junior Board, and are interested in making a difference in your community, please email info@ywcahbg.org to indicate your interest and get on the list when the call for new members goes out.
