Junior Board
Empowering Women, Eliminating Racism.
The YWCA Greater Harrisburg is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all.

About the Junior Board
The YWCA Junior Board is made of women between the ages of 21-35 who are charged with creating awareness of the YWCA mission and serves to develop leadership and service skills in its members. Each year, the Junior Board holds two fundraising events for the YWCA’s Child Development programs, its Spring Happy Hour in May and Fall Fest in September/October.
Junior Board applications are accepted during the summer and voted on in August. The 2025 cycle is now closed, but stay tuned for details on applying to the 2026–2027 Junior Board in Summer 2026.
