What to Do When Stopped by the Police

The YWCA’s “What To Do When Stopped by the Police” community education materials are now available!

Designed to provide community members (particularly young people) with the knowledge and tools to have safer interactions with law enforcement officers, these materials include a brochure, wallet card and social media graphic – all available in English, Spanish, Vietnamese, Mandarin and French.

This project came out of the Criminal Justice & Community Relations Taskforce, a coalition of law enforcement and community leaders convened by the YWCA to build stronger police-community relations in our region.

All of the materials are available for free download, and you may fill out this form to request printed copies (while supplies last).

Please take advantage of these resources – keep them in your lobby, share them with your clients and give them out at your events!
