-Volunteer hours are available during the week between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
Requirements
-Must be 18 years or older.
-Criminal and child abuse clearances are mandatory and will cost you $10 per clearance.
 
Resource Development
Volunteer Opportunities
-Organize and maintain the Clothing Bank 

-Fundraising and Special Events
-Solicit in-kind and monetary donations
-Staff the registration desk at events
-Represent the YWCA at local health fairs
-Stuff and label for bulk mailings

-Volunteer hours are available during the work week from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Weekend hours may be available for special events.

Requirements
-Must be 16 years or older.
-Depending on the job, a criminal and child abuse clearances may be required. Each clearance will cost you $10.

-Instructing Life Skills Classes

-Adopting a Shelter Suite for Cleaning and Decor (great for a group activity)

Requirements
-Must be 16 years or older.
-Criminal and child abuse clearances are mandatory and will cost you $10 per clearances.
 
Community Education
Volunteer Opportunities
-Office Assistants
-Librarians
-Personal Computer Class Assistants
-Personal Computer Class Instructors
-Stuffing and Labeling Newsletters and Other Mailers
-Technology Center Lab Proctors

Volunteer hours are available during the work week from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Requirements
-Must be 16 years or older.
-Criminal and child abuse clearances are mandatory and will cost you $10 per clearance.
 
Maintenance
Volunteer Opportunities -- available at the Market Street building and at YWCA Camp Reily
-Grounds Clean-Up (mulching, trimming trees, pulling weeds, trash clean-up, etc.)
-Painting
-Cleaning Buildings from Top to Bottom
-Tending to Indoor Plants
-Helping to Build New Projects

Sexual Assault and 
Domestic Violence

Volunteer Opportunities
-Designing Activity Days for the Children in the Domestic Violence Shelter
-Staffing the YWCA Crisis Hotline
-Escorting Individuals for Hospital or Court Accompaniments
-Facilitating Support Groups
-Assisting in the Domestic Violence Shelter
-Providing Childcare
-Assisting with clerical Duties
-Immigrant Outreach Assistance
-Volunteer hours are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Requirements
-Must be 18 years or older.
-Criminal and child abuse clearances are mandatory and will cost you $10 per clearance.
-Volunteers must attend a free 70-hour volunteer training, held two or three times a year on Tuesday and Thursday nights and all day Saturday.
