Paxton Street) will host a fundraiser to benefit the YWCA of Greater
Harrisburg and the initiatives undertaken by its Junior Board.
Bring your friends and family to enjoy great food and great company
while supporting this charity. Twenty-five percent (25%) of the
total cost of your meal will go directly to the YWCA of Greater
Harrisburg. Please come out and support us!

Tribute to Women of Excellence
Each year we honor women in Central Pennsylvania who embody these characteristics at the TWE Awards Dinner.
Award
recipients are women who:
- Participate actively in the community as mentors, role models and volunteers.
- Actively serve on the boards or committees of various non-profits and organizations.
- Raise and donate money to important causes.
- Demonstrate integrity, strength of character and leadership.
- Embrace and support the vision and mission of the YWCA.
On Wednesday, March 21, 2012 the YWCA of Greater Harrisburg will host the 23rd annual Tribute to Women of Excellence (TWE) event.
This year’s event will be held at the Hershey Lodge & Convention Center at 5:30p.m.
Race Against Racism
This 5K run/walk demonstrates
the YWCA's commitment to racial justice and opportunity, and seeks to
raise awareness and address issues related to race in our community.
Proceeds will support YWCA and community-based programs dedicated to the
elimination of racism.

About the course
- The
5-kilometer/3.1 mile course is accurately measured, but not
certified.
- The
race is professionally timed; results will be posted on the YWCA of
Greater Harrisburg’s website.
- People of all ages and physical abilities may participate.
- The course is wheelchair accessible.
