Do you have 4 hours a month available to mentor a young adult?

The YWCA of Greater Harrisburg is seeking members of our community to serve as mentors for the YouthBuild Program.

YouthBuild’s goal is to provide opportunities for personal transformation through GED education, building trades training, life skills, community-service and leadership development, including case management, leadership skills, community service, employment readiness and employment placement services.

YouthBuild serves young adults, male and female, ages 18-24.

The project will also build housing by guiding participants in rehabilitating low income housing units in a distressed census tract. The project’s main office and base for participants is the Center for Employment, Education, and Entrepreneurial Development (CEEED) in South Allison Hill.

Mentors play a critical part in the success for our leaders of tomorrow!  Please consider becoming a mentor!

Below you will find our flyer and application; our deadline is approaching quickly, as the next YouthBuild Cohort will be starting soon!
