The YWCA Greater Harrisburg believes that every child is entitled to a safe, healthy, and loving environment in which to grow and learn.  We believe that children learn best by doing and being involved, and that a child's growth and development is best be achieved with individual attention, nurturing and exposure to a variety of age-appropriate resources, activities and experiences.

The Kids on Campus facility provides all day care for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years of age. The facility is fully licensed and regulated by the Department of Welfare.  As a participant in the STARS program, Kids on Campus is constantly improving methods by which enrolled children are nurtured and prepared for primary education. For more information, rates or to schedule a tour of the daycare facility, contact Andrea Bowes at 717-901-3637.

Typical daily schedules in all age groups include:
Developmentally appropriate fine and gross motor activities, science, math and cooking activities, arts and crafts, reading readiness activities, and outdoor play and freeplay.
