Volunteers
Mr. Shellman's World Music students from Marshall Elementary entertained the crowd before the race. Then, Commissioner Hartwick prepared the crowd to hit the course.

After the race, participants enjoyed mango, cherry, and root-beer treats from Rita's Ice of Union Deposit.
Hip-Hop the Clown and volunteer Hannah painted faces and hands and made everyone smile with fun balloon creations.

Volunteers from the YWCA's Violence and Intervention and Prevention programs handed out hotdogs, chips, oranges and bottled water.

Massage students from Central Pennsylvania College worked out the kinks!

Thanks to all participants and volunteers, who made the first annual YWCA of Greater Harrisburg's Race Against Racism a complete success! Mark your calendars now for Saturday, April 29, 2006. See you next year!
