Race Against Racism 2013

The ninth annual Race Against Racism will take place on City Island on Saturday, April 27th. The Race not only raises significant funds to support the YWCA Greater Harrisburg's racial justice programs, but also promotes awareness of the issues that surround racial injustice in our community.

About the RACE

• The 5K run/walk starts and ends on City Island
• Registration is $25 for adults and $10 for children
• Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 27th and the race starts at 9 a.m.
• Team goody bags and t-shirts MUST be picked up in advance at 1101 Market St. Harrisburg, PA between April 23rd – 26^th.
• All participants will receive a free T-shirt and goody bag.
• The race is professionally timed;results will be posted on the YWCA Greater Harrisburg’s website
