The YWCA Greater Harrisburg is pleased to announce the successful completion of our “Let’s Talk: A Conversation about Race” series at the LGBT Center of Central PA. Over the past 6 weeks, a diverse group of 12 leaders within the LGBT community came together to discuss the complex dynamics of race and racism, and what we can do individually and collectively to counteract racism and all of the “isms” that divide us.

To celebrate the conclusion of this series, the LGBT Center will host a reception to share what has come out of these conversations, and recognize each of the participants. This event is open to the public and the press, and speakers will include LGBT Center Executive Director Louie Marven, YWCA Greater Harrisburg CEO Tina Nixon, co-facilitators Shaashawn Dial-Snowden and Amanda Arbour, as well as several participants.
