13th Annual Race Against Racism

On Saturday, April 29, 2017 the YWCA Greater Harrisburg held its 13th Annual Race Against Racism. This 5K run/walk was a mission-driven event promoting awareness of racism in our community and raises vital funds to support our racial justice programs throughout the year.

This year marked the second year holding the Race Against Racism in the heart of Harrisburg - our participants started and ended at Soldier's Grove and followed a route through downtown and midtown. The YWCA is proud to call this city our home, where we have been rooted for 122 years. The Race is a great opportunity for people of all ages to engage with the city in a fun and unique way.
